Fall festivities

We are in that short season of time where nights are cool,

days are just right,

colors are vivid,

In other words…

My Favorite!!

and I declare

Fall Should Last Longer!

The Lake is perfect this time of year

mainly because most of the tourists have gone

You find yourselves alone in the coves.

with the lake as smooth as glass.

Too bad I am not invited on this “Boys only trip”

Hubby might take issue with that last sentence. So I shall rephrase it.

I declined to go on this “Boys only trip”

I think I would of interrupted the groove.

and Hubby may have been too distracted to catch their dinner.

In other words….

Look at Hubby’s striper that is bigger then last years-

big fish catch.

Meanwhile, I was able to do a few fun things

on my own

at the home front.

Like party with these cuties.

Look how well behaved they are

For all of two minutes.

But….

We had so much FUN!

Playing outside - with our primary friends

and running around in the cool evening.

and… SHhhhh (eating lots of sugar)

These busy kiddos – let us hang out with them sometimes.

 

#Chalkontheblock was the perfect excuse-

to all have lunch,

and go for a stroll

Admiring some talented artists work.

Both professional

 

and aspiring!

Certain pictures reminded us of a princess

that is way over on the island of Tobago!

Grandbaby loved it!!
