Mays and the car ride

DSCN3404

We thought we were being nice.

We thought it would be fun.

We thought he would enjoy being out in nature

Guess What? We thought wrong.

Have you ever seen a car sick puppy?

Luckily, I am going to spare you the gory details, and I was polite enough not to take pictures.

Poor Mays we will not make you take a car ride with us for a long time to come.

Poor Littlest Princess, sorry he picked you to comfort him.

All of my dogs have gotten sick in the car at one time or another. And they all have made many, many trips without getting sick. An open window for them to stick their head out does wonders and yes I have had open windows at below zero temperatures. I think dogs as much as kids need to be able to at least see out the windows so that the mind is believing the motion. With our little dogs, we build them a platform so that can be up and seeing out the windows.

The other thing that I have had problems on is windy roads. So you can imagine that last little bit into St. George.
