How do you wear a thirteen year old boy out? I dream of the spa with yoga and massages. He dreams of red rock and white water.
Biking, hiking, rafting, rappelling, and all the junk food you can eat. No one to make him brush his teeth, or go to bed.
Add a few friends to the mix and you get his idea of heaven on earth.
Hey Mookie, Thanks for wearing your helmet. See I am still there that little voice of safety inside his head.
Just him and and the open road. Endless horizons full of promise.
I have hubby to thank for instilling this curiosity in him. Sharing this love of the desert's beauty,
heat,
and sweat.
I on the other hand stay home with my cozy jammies on, and a good book in my hand.
I am worn out.
