Sunday Bliss

I awoke from my mandatory Sunday nap - I could not hear any noise. Silence! My house is never this quiet unless you are creeping around it at 2am! You will need to be careful even then because someone is bound to wake up and want to party with you.


Remember how sweet baby's look when they are asleep - it doesn't ever change does it. Beautiful as ever!


Now here is my real baby. This is the true Sunday miracle. He never naps, or even sits still. He must be going into Jr. high. A chemical switches in their brain about the time they enter Jr. high and 2 things happen. 1- they love to sleep in- the type of sleep a bomb would not wake them up from. 2- they love to nap. Love, love, love it! Oh, there is a third reaction to this chemical. You no longer can get them to GO TO BED! Give up - many parents have fought this valiant fight, but I warn you - you will loose.

Okay, even Clark looks cute when he (half?)sleeps, but then again this is what he does most days. PS. He is not supposed to be on the couch. Dumb dog.

Okay, you caught me. Yes he is posing, but he was asleep until I walked in.
The other members of my family all awoke as I was sneaking in to snap a shot. I will have to work on my stalking techniques. They yelled loudly, "No MOM, not on the blog." Once you start blogging no one in your house is ever safe again. (and Teenagers hate, hate, hate this HE/HE)
It has answered my question though, this is why most cute blogs are women with the cutest babies - not teenagers.
I promise family the bathrooms are safe territory.
I hope you have noticed there are not many pictures of Nellie on my blog. She is the best picture evader. I am on a Nellie hunt this week. I will hide, sneak, traumatize her and later this week I will have a whole post on just her, the rascal. Watch out Nellie, moms a comin'.
