True Story

The following is a serious post

straight up this is what happened.

DSCN7192

See the Americans staring at that tiny speck in the water

Seems our ship almost swamped this little tiny fishing boat of DSCN7196

eighteen people,

in the middle of the ocean,

no land in sight.

DSCN7195

Eighteen people from the neighboring country of

DSCN7196

Cuba!

DSCN7203

Cubans- maybe not so happy to see the Coast Guard.

DSCN7193

Americans staring at Cubans being “Rescued.”

DSCN7202

We stayed by the fishing boat until the Coast Guard came

and asked us to leave.

In the end they get to go back to Cuba,

It is a sad story,

a true story.

DSCN7199

That makes you wonder how desperate you would have to be?

To get in this boat,

with eighteen people,

to try to make it to America.

Blue

DSCN7076

Wishing I could live everyday surrounded by Blue

DSCN7140

Every port a different shade of Blue.

DSCN7177

Shades of blue to create a picture of perfection.

DSCN7210

I do believe I am a little homesick.

Blessings flowed from heaven when I met you.
