Whenever I mentioned the date she was to leave – December 21st.

I got the same reaction from everyone.

OHHHhhhhh – that is kind of mean.

Well I am here to tell ya.

It  has been the-

 BEST CHRISTMAS – EVER!

So my question to you is- What is more Christmas-sy

Than a Missionary?

The spirit of Christ has been in our home this Christmas Season.

We have been so blessed to be parents to this Beautiful Girl.

We are so grateful for her example of Christ like love, and obedience. 

May we follow her example in the coming 18 months and give a little more of ourselves.

and that my friends is what Christmas is all about.

HARRY

 

Harry entered our life in 1998

– when my oldest  princess was about ten.

blame it on Bonnie, yep it is all her fault.

She asked me if Princess had read Harry Potter

(I had never heard of the little wizard)

So I ran right out and bought the book.

Since Harry became part of the family

….we have never been the same.

We stay up until all hours of the night

to buy books…

… and see movies

We talk using words like muggles, horcrux, portkey, and quidditch.

Some of us have hosted Harry Potter Parties….

Some of us like to blog about him

….and we fly clear across the country to visit his home

You have never seen such a happy bunch of muggles.

Maybe we will win parents of the year!

But….

a small part of me is worried….

That maybe she really believes that wand works??

He will really find that cool boarding school

– like HOGWARTS!

and….

Why does this Princess know the spell to get rid of dementors??

Did you know in Hogsmeade Butterbeer is legal at any age.

Maybe this is why…

HE is clearly wondering what I have done to our children!

4. On the plus side - he is not much of a barker.....

Clark on the other hand is banned from dinner with the family.

5. On the down side - way down... He loves the garbage cans....

and Ian is a SAINT..No I will not say more...

'cause the princess' will puke..
6. Did I mention he is not allowed on my bed. EVER!
7. Someone in our house lets him up there when I am not paying attention.
