Way to go CANADA!
I knew they would not let me down.
You can not have festivities in Canada and celebrate with out this guy.
Just ask me - I’m Half Canadian, you know.
And Neil - Great Song!

In honor of the yoga workshop I went to last weekend.
When you read this book you might understand why I am Yoga Crazy.
I always have a pen to underline when I read – my kids hate to read a book after I have read it- Sorry Kiddies!
Look what I have underlined in this book.
“Our bodies can teach us and speak to us (as silly as that may sound). When we do not listen, the body stops wasting energy and just adjusts to our bad habits. When we begin to live more sensitively and to watch and tune in, the body will tentatively begin giving us feedback again the process reverses. Our own bodies can become our most important teachers. When watching and listening to feedback, it is important to pay attention to immediate effects as well as intermediate effects and long-term effects of the practices. We keep an eye on how our practice affects us in the moment, what the effects are the next day, and several days later. We may not be able to see all the effects exactly or specifically, but staying as attentive as possible will go a long way.” - Ganga White
Wake that body up- we all need to do this so we can stand on our hands at 80! Don’t laugh I have seen it.
This is a book I will refer to often ‘cause I am Yoga Crazy and loving life!
I spend every Sunday with these little Cherubs.

A little piece of heaven – I tell ya!
I wanted a picture of hubby biking.
Believe it or not I had a hard time finding one.
I do have lots of friends, neighbors, and his scout troop. All biking of course - if you would like to see those.
And now this guy too!
What’s a girl to do?

Thanks to all of my friends who suggested this book. My favorite book of 2010 (so far). A funny coincidence is that I read another book called The Incidents in the life of a Slave girl, by Harriett Jacobs. All in the month of January. All in honor of Martin Luther King day, and black History month. All not planned, and just a happy coincidence.
The novel is told from the perspective of three characters. Abileen, a middle aged African American maid who has spent her life raising white children and has recently lost her only son; Minny, an African American maid who has often offended her employers despite her family's struggles with money and her desperate need for jobs; and Skeeter, a young white woman who has recently moved back home after graduating college to find out her childhood maid has disappeared without a word. These three stories intertwine to explain how life in Jackson, Mississippi revolves around "the help"; yet they are always kept at a certain distance because of racial lines. (Wikipedia)
My friend Bonnie said it best, when she said I loved all the women in this book and was left wanting to know what happened to them.
A great read that will keep you up all hours of the night to finish it. Right- Dana!
Hubby can’t you just smile normal for the camera?
Yeah – that’s what I am talking about – Silly guy.
This is the best we could do.
And yes the lobster tail was delish!
He’s like that always making us feel SPECIAL.
I know most of you think our house has gone to the dogs.
Truthfully, this is how our little buddies spend most of their day.
They sleep right by the front door - so they can greet you as you come in.
Welcome to our house!
There comes a time in every puppy’s life that he has to let his manliness go.
At least if he is going to live at my house.
Poor Mays!
This is what happens if you are a wild hyena. (Aunt Holly)
I am sure we will all be happier in the long run.
But…..
Don’t you all feel just a little sorry for him.
