When I grow up
I am going to drive the little red train for Disney. Around and Around the park we go.
With passengers who drag their tired, highly sugared children on the afternoon of the 2nd day and say,
“We haven’t ridden the train yet darlings.’
While the adults plop down in complete exhaustion. The train entertains their adorable kiddies.
“Now Entering Tomorrow Land”
I am going to wear these cute overalls, with the great train hat, and a red bandanna.
Way better then scrubs.
I will pull on the horn, and make the steam blow for all the children to ‘Ooh and Ahh’ over.
Whats not to love?
This is a Disney Original!
Hats off to you sir - you have the best job EVER.
Oh and one more thing sir - Do you think I need a engineering degree to run a steam train in Disneyland??

What I do in the lines at Disneyland
All these photos have something in common. Can you guess what it is?
She contemplates life deeply.
She thinks I am her personal paparazzi
She can run, but she can’t hide. She can’t make me stop.
She is president of OHS engineering club???
She loves her Mother very, very much.

Monday Blues
Missing the Hap, Hap, Happiest place on earth. I think Walt and I would of been friends.
Or,
Maybe I am just missing the sunshine, and spending time with these friends.

These kids are very good monster fighters.
Hubby they do not seem too scared.
It must be all those darn video games. Ruins ‘em young.
In fact - this one doesn’t seem to believe in Monsters at all.

Old Fashion FUN Family Christmas
Grizwold Style!
Clark: We're kicking off our fun old fashion family Christmas by heading out into the country in the old front-wheel drive sleigh to embrace the frosty majesty of the winter landscape and select that most important of Christmas symbols.Eddie: You serious, Clark? Rusty Griswold: Oh, woo. Look at the time. I gotta get to bed. I still gotta brush my teeth, feed the hog, still got some homework to do, still got those bills to pay, wash the car...
Ruby Sue: Uncle Clark, are you sure you ain't Santa Claus?
Clark: I'm sure... I can't even afford to be an elf.
Clark: The most enjoying traditions of the season are best enjoyed in the warm embrace of kith and kin. Thith tree is a thymbol of the thpirit of the Griswold family Chrithmath.
Ellen: You set standards that no family activity can live up to.
Clark: When have I ever done that?
Ellen: Parties, weddings, anniversaries, funerals, holidays, vacations, graduations...
Clark: I dedicate this house to the Griswold Family Christmas.
I do not get to see my family at Christmas, so for me this was a special Christmas treat.
Thanks for coming to the Dayton Family Fiesta which in reality does not resemble the Griswold family. (Maybe just a little) We love you all!
Hubby’s fish tacos are worth the ten hour drive, aren’t they?
You are all invited every year.

My other children
Since my mind has been hurtling towards the Big Day. I have been single minded, obsessed, consumed. All wrapped up in visions of flowers and lace, and satin. Worried about cake, and cheesecake, and RSVP’s
Not to mention I got an A in my health class this semester. Wahoo!!
I woke up today and these strangers were living in my house.
Whoa!
What is in the water around here? Why are they growing up so fast.
Seriously, thank you for being awesome helpers the last few months. I appreciate all of you.
Do you even read this blog?
You all deserve a vacation – lets go!

What a MOM needs
A rope to just hang on - on this wild adventure ride.
Love of a good adventure – so I am going to enjoy it.
A deep breath - and I am off over the edge.
A lot of trust - that the rope will hold.
Take my time, and use my mad skills -I will eventually make it to safe ground once again.
FYI: yes this is me here is the proof
Do ya want to come next time?

‘Tis the Season
For a girls dreams to come true.
It may be very cold outside, but our hearts are warmed.
(Santa is watching. He always is watching. Name that movie?)
“Mom aren’t bridal showers the best!” – Princess
“Mom can you believe all these cool things?!” - Princess
We are so blessed, by all our favorite friends and family who have spoiled this princess rotten.
We teach ‘em young. ‘Cause you got to train ‘em up right.
This one she is dangerous. I just want to squeeze her cheeks and watch her suck her thumb.
Lots of love is floating around here this year.
Isn’t princess lucky to be born on her grandma’s birthday.
I’d say she must of been extra – extra good this year.
